Naira Marley has expressed his willingness to return to Nigeria for investigation in response to the calls for justice surrounding the death of his former signee, Mohbad. However, the Marlian leader emphasized that his return would be contingent upon the assurance of his safety by the police. He cited concerns that many Nigerians had formed negative opinions about him following Mohbad's passing.
During a recent interview, the singer, who has been residing outside the country with his family since August, stated his innocence regarding the allegations tied to him. When asked by Reno Omokri if he would consider returning to Nigeria for an investigation, Naira Marley replied that he would do so if security agencies could guarantee his safety.
Naira Marley also pointed out that there has been a significant impact from media narratives, potentially skewing the public's perception of him.
